Hey everybody! I hope this week has been good for everyone! We are wrapping up our summer and looking forward to this fall because I get to make a trip back home to America for a month! I am so excited to see my family (hi, Mom!!) and best friends.
And – I CANNOT WAIT to eat!!
I am even planning on making a pit stop in Memphis for a few days just to get me some good eats for the first time in a year! In case you don’t know it, Memphis is a food mecca. Things I plan on stuffing my face with include:
Gibson’s Donuts (Why can’t Saipan have decent donuts???)
Jerry’s Sno Cones – If you’ve never had a sno cone with Eagle Brand sweet cream then you just haven’t lived right!
Gus’s Fried Chicken – It will ruin all other fried chicken for you! Y’all just don’t understand – I cry every time I see fried chicken on the buffet here in Saipan. I know it will never hold a candle to Gus’s!
Kroger/Aldi – ANY American grocery store really… Fresh produce! Non-expired food! Actual selection! Cherries that don’t cost $43!
And since I’m talking about things I can’t wait to get home for – I finally get to see Target’s makeover!! The store did the big revamp last year just weeks after I moved to Saipan. I’ve seen it through Instastories, and it looks adorable! I’m finally going to get my Target fix!
I’ve spent the past few weeks sharing our trip to Korea with you ( you can recap here, here, and here), which I hope have been inspiring your wanderlust to seek adventures. I will be back in a few weeks with even more about our South Korea trip, but I wanted to take this week to share some more of my new hobby.
I decided to branch out and not only use my own photography as the background for these wanderlust pics and quotes, but to try a few quotes about wanderlust on patterned background.
